To convey complex information and data, information graphics (infographics) have been developed by HHRI to highlight key data and concepts, using appealing visual story formats to help bridge the gap of educating users. Visual processing can be a faster and more effective way for individuals to ‘absorb’ a vast amount of information when having limited available time.

These findings provide a broad overview of just how prevalent medical errors are in Iowa – nearly one-in-five Iowans report they have personally been involved in a medical error or a medical error has occurred to someone close to them.
