Customized Research in Healthcare

Heartland Health Research Institute (HHRI) is an independent, nonpartisan and nonprofit research organization based in Clive, Iowa. Funding for our work is provided by research grants from public and private foundations to serve the public on health-related initiatives.

The biggest asset we have is our good health, which is an important life component we often take for granted – until its existence becomes threatened. In addition to the lifestyle and behavioral choices we demonstrate on a daily basis, we naturally assume the health ‘care’ we seek and receive will provide the curative, preventative and palliative solutions we need throughout our lives. We trust that care will be timely, effective, consistent and safely delivered to our satisfaction.

The trust we have in healthcare facilities and professionals is essential for the effectiveness and success of the care delivery system upon which our society depends. Using many customized approaches, HHRI is a research organization that focuses on a broad spectrum of healthcare issues, specifically from the patient’s perspective regarding the quality of healthcare received, and the confidence and trust patients have in the healthcare system today and into the future.

The methodologies used for our research projects are typically determined by the scope and challenges of each unique project. Having a variety of survey methods at our disposal allows for creativity in survey design/process and independent analysis and reporting.

Public Benefit 501(c)(3) Corporation
Organized as a public benefit 501(c)(3) corporation, HHRI seeks grant-based awards from public and private foundations to serve the general public on health-related initiatives that affect defined populations within each research project.

We welcome a discussion about how our work can assist your organization or community. To learn more about HHRI, please contact us.
