Since 1999, David P. Lind has conducted annual research with thousands of Iowa organizations focusing on employee benefit trends. The Iowa Employer Benefits Study© is a comprehensive statistical review of Iowa employee benefits that is a key resource for employers and policy makers in Iowa. Survey results provide Iowa employers with reliable, relevant, and customized information that you can’t find anywhere else in Iowa.
Prior to founding David P. Lind Benchmark* in 2011, David created David P. Lind & Associates, L.L.C., an employee benefits consulting firm. He received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Northeast Missouri State University, and also earned his MBA from Drake University. In addition, he has a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
David has over 30 years of experience in the health care industry in various roles.
Dr. Yogesh Shah, MD, MPH is with the Geriatric Medicine and Memory Center of Broadlawns Medical Center. His expertise is in medical care, geriatrics and he has a strong passion for improving the health of people around the world. Dr. Shah is triple-board-certified in family medicine, geriatrics, hospice and palliative care.
Dr. Shah was instrumental in making Des Moines a member of the World Health Organization’s network of age-friendly cities. Dr. Shah also led the creation of the Heartland Global Health Consortium, a collaborative of Iowa educational institutions that seeks to foster international learning opportunities for students. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to develop a palliative care program in Rwanda.
Born in Mumbai, India, Dr. Shah has received the Passport to Prosperity Award, which honors individuals who immigrated to Iowa and have contributed significantly to the community.Debra Townsend Lind
Debra received her undergraduate and law degrees from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and worked in private practice with Ahlers, Cooney, Haynie, Smith and Allbee for several years. She assists as editor of all written materials of HHRI and lends legal expertise when needed.
